Beer City Pickleball Wins, Parenting Fails & One Wild Ride to Vegas – The McGuffin Show
2025-07-22 01:00:00 • 36:18
Mom, what's going on Tyson and Guffin here? Welcome to the Guffin show. It's been a couple
weeks, been on the road. Just living the dream, you know, playing a bunch of pickle, taking
our kids. Life is good. Just got back from Grand Rapids. We always love going to Grand Rapids.
G-R-B-B-B. Beer craft city. There's a craft brewery probably on every corner of that town.
But yeah, we've been playing. I started playing Beer City Open, I think in like 2020. I was
telling Meg this funny story that she forgot about. But I think it was the second year that
I played Beer City. I was like 2021. But ended up beating Benny. I hadn't beat Ben for,
I don't know, it felt like a decade, it's probably six months. But I hadn't beat Ben
for a while. And it was when Colin was playing singles, maybe it was 2020. She'd get my
freaking dates, right? But anyhow, so CJ. No, no, no, it would have been, because we got married
in 2019. No, no, no, no, no, no. So I was told by somebody else that the first year was 2020.
Okay. So I was thinking of 2019. It was after we were married. Because I know we went to
a tournament there before we were married. Well, you're just dating. This is, this is just
becoming a shit. Sorry, go ahead. Let's say it happened a couple years ago. A long story short,
the first or second year beer city open. Yeah, Colin played singles. Ben had played Colin
in a bronze medal match, barely beat him like 11, 8 and the third. It's middle of July,
Hodder and Snot, hot humid. I'm smoking through shirts every couple minutes. Anyhow, so Benny
comes off of that match, beats, beats Colin in three. I play him in the finals. And obviously,
this is back in the day, double limb. So Ben's going to have to beat me twice, right?
Just two out of three, then again, a 15. And yeah, I ended up just working him, working,
beat him like four and four. It's one of the few times where I like rolled in pretty good.
I got a little overzealous after the match. I did, did some of this. I did, I did. I
looked right at Gizmo. Gizmo was kind of I acted like I had some big cajonas, even though
that was kind of a small man move. Just keep your mouth shut. I don't over sell it.
I'm welcome. Right. So anyhow, directly after that, we had a flight that night, Megan,
I think went to a bar, just started getting blocked out, fully blocked. Got to the airport.
Lung was on our flight. This is when Lung and I were like best friends. I think Lung ended
up sitting on my lap during the flight. But as we get on our flight, I have to take a
P. And so I'm going, I'm like in the back, taking a P. And then I hear over the, over like
the intercom that they're delaying the flight because somebody's in the bathroom. So I,
I quick hurry up, finish my business, go sit. I remember it was like the walk of shame.
Like when I got out of that bathroom and I'm just trying to be lying my way back to
my seat. People are looking at me, probably thinking, what's this bow so doing? Get to
your seat. Lung, Lung was laughing was laughing hysterically. To piggyback that though, you
always loved to run like right to last minute. We get on like just one late. We'll have
a tight, yeah, we'll have a tight connection and Tyson will be like, I'm hungry. I'm going
to go order food. Well, first, yeah, frizzes P always. And then you want to order food.
I have to go P 10 times. You always say to me, you always say, go ahead, go to the gate.
Have have have, have hold it for me. Trust me. Yeah. Have hold it for me. I'm so funny
story. So I have tried to hold it for it. I actually think I was successful in our home
airport just because you're like five for six, but no, but for Craig. So Tyson and Craig
travel solo. I don't probably it was probably a Salt Lake, but I don't know. Anyways, we flew
through Seattle. Okay. Yeah. This has nothing to do with me. Anyways, you told Craig to go
hold the plane just the same and Craig called me like, mega dry. I was at the back of the
plane is why. Right. Yeah. I wasn't using the restroom. I wasn't getting a bite to eat.
Craig, you know, I think we're going to the UFC fights in Salt Lake City. Yeah. But
I flew through Seattle either way. Which doesn't make sense. Or Craig, he was like, I tried
it. I tried to hold the plane. I'm like, I don't typically do that. Craig doesn't have
as much pole as mama. Mama's a little tougher in those moments. I put her foot down.
Stress. And I was like, I swear he's coming. She's like looking. She's like, nobody's
coming. And I'm like, no, he is. He's coming. He's coming. I'm slowly walking. Eat
the cheeseburger. I'm drinking my soda. Talk about the Palm Springs one. It wasn't. Oh,
that was a night. It's talking about that. So Palm Springs, if you don't know this,
it's a good. It's a good thing. It is a lovely report outside. Yeah. No, I love the scenery.
I range of people that people are not people watch for days. No, for sure. But because it's
such a small airport and I'm pretty sure everything, a lot of it's done by hand. So the
bag sorting, you have to have your bags there an hour and a half. It's like something
weird. Most airport you're just an hour, right? Usually it's anywhere from like for
delt anyways, domestically, it's like 30 to minutes to an hour. So yeah. So we typically
try to be there like an hour before boarding starts. But regardless, we went and they were
like enticed and was teaching camp the next day in Arizona. And so you get there that night.
And the lady is like, I'm sorry, your bags cannot be checked. Like your past the point.
And I'm like, please, he's got to get there tomorrow. And she's like, I'm sorry. She's
like, the bags can't go. She's like, you guys can go, but the bags can't go. And I'm
like, okay. So I'm like, I'm like, Tyson, go ahead, get on the flight. I will be the
bag meal. To my credit, I had a camp. No, you did. So I had to take a later flight that
night, ended up like going straight to the to the bar there and just sitting there and
just go right to the ball. But no, I like a true alcoholic. But I bet I met the bar
so can I. I met who you meet. Some guy social media manager at the time that we hired
for a little bit. But she happened to be sitting there. She lasted about four months. Great
fine. Great fine. Anyway, so what did she do to our photos? No, she took a photo and then
tried to post it. I'm like looking at the photo. You can see the cursor in the photo.
I'm like, he's at it. It's the original. Yeah, there's a lot of that. Yeah, so for sure.
On her. Yeah, for sure. So lots of fun airport trips. But for sure, Tyson likes to run to
the last. Just live at the airport. Luckily, Mac and banks now are just true warriors and
if you fly, like there's not tomorrow. We are lucky for that. For sure. So for now,
they're getting picky about they don't want connecting flights. They want direct flight.
Just shut up. It's three and four. Put your head down. Have phones on tablet and just chill.
Whenever our future frame, when our James complains about direct flights, I'm like, come on.
Like we connect everywhere. Like you can connect. Okay. You'll be all right. But mom and
I have been diamond members with Delta for how many years? Three years. Tell us all the
all the lovely perks about Delta. Come on, Phil, you're like a Delta specialist. I know
literally nothing. No, I just we I mean status is nice, but you can only get your upgrades
if you book. You can't have more than two people on your reservation. So if you're the
diamond member, you can have one more person on your reservation. But if you put three,
like if I'm traveling with two kids, then we are not going to get upgraded for free. So
whenever we book travel, the four of us, just us and the babies will book us with a kiddo
on each, each thing. So, but it's nice, like even being status and max status that they
have now, whoever flies with them gets free bags and in free upgrades and stuff like that.
So, and then the other nice, what's your favorite sky lounge? We get three bags at 70 pounds.
Like that. We pack those bags to the brine. So when we miss something or we have to catch
a different airline, it's kind of a nightmare because our bags are we guaranteed an extra
300 bucks for overweight baggage fees. Take my car, but some airlines, you can ask them
if they have bags for sale and they actually have duffle bags. And so you can get a duffle
bag, stuff your extra stuff in there and then save instead of paying the $300 over each
fee, you can just pay another $50 or $100 for a bag. Tell us what you did in Vegas.
I can't believe this. Just broke my heart. It's so bad. I don't know who was fine.
You were looking at banks. You were looking at Elizabeth. We were heading from Vegas to
somewhere and then we're heading to Vegas to Phoenix. They were flying from Spokane to Phoenix.
And so we were looking at their flight. I was looking at their flight all day of the day
before. That is your personal hiccup. I know. I thought we were leaving it. I thought
I was so upset with myself more than like anybody. I was like broke my record. But no,
I, yeah, I was looking at their flight the whole time. So we got there and it was funny
too because the gate agent had called me and said, do you want to upgrade? We only have
one seat in first class. I'm like, no, it's fine. We'll just, they put. But I, with thought,
like, oh, he's calling me kind of early. But then by the time we got there, we tried
to check our bags at curbside and they're like, oh, sorry. You have zero time left. Yeah,
like it's boarding right now. Right. We've made a shot look on her face. So tell me.
So how many different airlines have the outside check in and how convenient is that? I know.
I don't know. Another delta. Right. Yeah. Delta does. Some airports are too small. Like
Spokane. They don't have a curbside. So it just depends. And most of them, I think they're
airline specific, but they're not paid Delta employees. They're a separate service.
So if you do use the curbside service, it's not just for Delta. It's for any. No, there's,
I think there's, I think Southwest has them sometimes. It just depends on the airport.
But when we go, we're in the Delta area. It's the Delta curbside. Correct. Correct. But Delta
offers it. Yeah. I think it's just in the, in the lovely thing about the curbside check
in is that there's never any more than like two people in line. No, it's great. But I
think it's because those people don't want to tip the guys because they don't work, they
work for tips apparently. So you have to give them, but I know, but I don't think they
make a whole lot. It's not, they don't work for Delta. They work for. I guarantee it's
plenty of people who check their stuff in outside and don't tip in his bounds. They're
going to hold, they're going to like, no, they're not. But I have seen guys tell people,
like, hey, we work for tips though. If you don't tip us, we're kind of out. Sounds like
an Asian massage as you leave. Just pay me. Tip, tip, 40%. Anyways. Anyhow, GR, I'll tell you
what we love going to Grand Rapids. Our friends, Matt Andrea, they just had their first baby
girl, Gianna. Gianna. I got you. Just seeing that little princess wants me to have one
more girl. It doesn't want to take place again. And I know there's a female in her tummy.
Sign me up. I'm done playing pickleball. Stay home, daddy. Life is good. Perfect.
Perfect. But yeah, had a little dinner with them. It was good seeing that we've known
them for a long time now. Yeah, a long time. Like I said, before we were married, I'm pretty
sure. And then they're obviously going through a different transition, having a kid and
a new slowdown. It's got a new house. Matt is a comedian. So it's cool. As they come,
crushing it. Been on the pod once or twice. Yeah. You play pickle. Now apparently, uh,
they're back on the pod. Now pickle is not in their life. Well, they got to be baby focused,
work and baby, right? It's probably primary. But, uh, yeah, GR, good food, vibrant city,
ton of energy. It's kind of funny. Like it, it, like reminds me of Sinclameni. We're in
Sinclameni. If you go downtown, you're bound to see all the players, fans, GR, it's
a city. It's crazy. It's a second biggest city in Michigan. I didn't know that. Yeah.
She learned something every day. She does. Anyhow, second biggest city, Michigan, uh,
booming. And, and same vibe. Like we saw a bunch of players cruising around. I think
it's because like the heart of downtown is pretty like, because the river runs beside
it. And so there's like a whole, like, row, right? That road that goes to the park. And
most of the parts stay in my hotel. And most of the really good restaurants are like,
right down in that main little. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It has like that small town vibe.
But it's in a big city. Uh, Belknapp Park, uh, has been holding it down since, since the
early 2000. Next to the ice ring, right? Right. Right. Right. And that, and that place,
like you drive up, it's when you like drive up. And you're like, yeah, it's a little
suspin. Right. I think the ice ring to your left. Well, it's hot and freaking. The best part
is it used to be, I don't know if it is this way anymore, but there used to be an outdoor
ice ring. And I remember one year, either they put courts in it, like obviously there's
no, I think I think vendors or they made like a beer garden in the ice ring. So it's
kind of man chain, right? And they're just dumping IPAs in their head way back in the
day when it was beer city open, not connected to the tour. There used to be, um, like a
player dinner, like the first night, right? And it was always at a brewery. So you'd go,
like everybody would socialize, have some like herbs and, you know, soups, juices. That's
my favorite. Juicy IP. God, it was good. I can't drink those anymore. Also just sit on my
ass and stomach. Honestly, I went from like being such a huge advocate of craft beer to
just, I don't know, cocktails and white wine. And they're like, yeah, right. Um, but
yeah. So tournament for the Phoenix flames did not go great. We had a couple subs. We
had, we had P money, Pesa, Tione, who honestly is just a, just a great human talented
pick well player probably has the biggest thighs on tour. The guy is he some Owen, Hawaiian,
same shit. I mean, the guy is locked and loaded, just built like an ox, right? Nice
is guy. Nice is guy lefty, crafty. Then we had Alex Walker. Sweet, just got brutally
rolled on center by the fives. It's pretty short and sweet. I think we averaged seven points
in a span of three games. And then, and then we dropped down, you drop down. So mid season
tournament, winners play for 50 or winners take 50, I think losing our second place team
takes like 25, some like that. Anyhow, so play and play in first and do. So yeah, so
if you lose, double limb, you can, you can play, play the backdrop. You cannot make your
way back to the finals. You get third, right? You can get third. Correct. So we ended up
playing the LA mad drops. LA mad drops. Obviously, Quang wasn't there. Quang's contract got
terminated. So Rafa filled in. Always love. Rafael playing. Rafi. Yeah. Anyhow. So Pesa
balled out. Pesa got his first premiere. MLP win with me. We ended up beating Hunter
and Rafa. Climb back. I think we're down like two six and kind of climb back and found
a way to get it done there. And then Jesse and I ended up getting a win and mixed. Who
do we play? You guys played Catherine and Hunter.
Hat Catherine and Rafa. I got my two dubs over over Rafael. And then when I do a dream
breaker, obviously the LA mad drops are very skilled in a dream breaker and they mopped
us up. So our weekend was kind of short and sweet. We ended up catching an early flight
that made books last minute on Saturday morning. Yeah, right Saturday morning. We left
it like seven or eight Mac or Mackey. He had to get up at like three thirty eight
a.m. And then Ty's been a course the night before. This is another thing. What did I do?
I said, Should we book and try to book an Uber ahead of time the night before just so
that we're like set because it is pretty early in the morning. And he's like, Oh, no,
we'll be good. And I'm like, Okay. And so we get up in the morning and we get I'm so
like putting the last touches on the bags and like, you know, putting my shoes on and stuff.
And like, Hey, can you book that over? And he's like, I've been trying to find a car.
Like, Oh, no, just keep loading trying to find a new car. I'm like, shit. And then I
call down and I'm like, do you have any info on a taxi? And then and then I kind of
put back because halfway through the phone calls, I'm talking on the front
disc person at the hotel. I see on my phone that a car like locks in right through Uber.
So I just hang up real quick and they go downstairs. And then as we're waiting in the lobby,
the, the, uh, it's like what for the morning. Yeah. Yeah. The, the, the front
disc person's like, did you just call or a taxi? Right. I just turned my head. And I was
like, yeah, I'm so sorry. Our Uber came through. And he's like, Okay, so we get in the Uber.
And the guys like, Okay, I'm taking you to Belknav Park. And I'm like, Oh, right.
Yeah. So like, no, we have to go to the airport. Right. And he just like blanks there
to us. And our bags are all loaded in. And where like, he was from a different country.
His English was a little chopped up. Yeah. Yeah. So nice. So nice. I think he was from
Bahamas. But yeah, he was like, so sweet. And he just looked at Tyson. Like, oh my gosh,
luckily, the airport was like, I was worried he was going to cancel. I thought he was
to, I will give you a hundred cash right now. Cold hard green cash. Please, we're going
to miss our flight. But luckily, he said, no problem. We changed the stop when you're
good to go. So anyway, zoomed home on Saturday, got home at like 10 a.m. on Saturday,
which was really nice. We had the whole rest of the day. And then had the whole day Sunday,
just kind of trouble. Yeah. Yeah. And it was so funny. And this is probably my fault.
But the one thing that Meg hates, right? And it's where anytime she's packing, we're just
had each other's throat. So it's not me. It's her. It's not me. It's her. So basically, just
generally when she's packing, I'm laying in bed watching USC boxing, watching some bullshit,
right? Anyhow, no, she gets pissed. She starts like assigning me tasks. I'm laying in bed
freshly showered, just posted, right? And I can just feel the negative energy. I can feel
her eyes just piercing. Throw me. Tell me to get my ass up and get to work. Help me. I was
playing with Mackie. Oh, right. I was playing with my biggest thing is that I hate when you, we get
somewhere, excuse me. And you're like, Oh, did you bring this or oh, did you bring that? And I just,
I don't know why I should just be like, no, I didn't. And it's not let it bother me. But then I
feel bad that I didn't bring it. So I'm so and I'm I'm the one and I don't know moms out there.
If you have tips, please tell me because I'm like the keeper of everything. Like my kids ask me
where things are, ties and ask me where things are. Like I swear, none of them actually look. They
just look at the ceiling. But I so I feel bad. Like I have to pack the bags because I have to know
where everything is. And I have a visual memory kind of person. And so if I don't pack the bag,
then I won't know where things are. And when someone goes to ask me, I won't have an answer.
And then you might not have the things that you need. And so yeah, so it's like kind of a stressful
moment, just one more packing to make sure we have everything. But yeah, yeah. So and also too,
I'm asking you a billion questions because I was double checking. Really, I probably shouldn't care.
In the beautiful thing. So this last trip, we just took Mac. So one thing that we did not mention
is that we went to a pro table tennis event, which is kind of cool and very good. It was so cool.
It was the first pro table tennis event grand slam that was in the US. Apparently there was a ton of
people watching online. But it was wild. Like it was, I think it was Tuesday.
It started like, it goes like Sunday through Sunday. It's a long week. So Yola obviously was there.
So we did like a little collaboration with Yola. Went to the Yola booth, filmed some content.
I played with some of the Yola reps. Yola had a handful of players that were competing in the event.
And I'm not gonna lie. Like I've seen some clips of like some pretty intense like long drawn out
table tennis points on YouTube. But seeing that stuff live, seeing it on TV or on YouTube just
doesn't do justice. I mean, seeing it live, my gosh, so fast, powerful, a ton of spin. And there's
some athletes. There's some real athletes. Yeah, for sure. And just such precision. Yeah, yeah.
Yeah, like saying like just yeah, I mean, and I was able to keep up.
And the technique, like, I don't know, we watched a men's match and it seemed like one guy had to
quite a like unique technique versus like, and then just the way it's so funny how they like,
like serve, right? Like they like hold it like really like this one girl. I like.
Well, there can be any spin on the toss, right? Oh, god.
The toss can only go so high or it has to get to a certain limit. It can.
Okay. Yes, I'm like that. That makes sense. Okay. So that tossing on was very still.
Well, so like one guy that I was I wish I remembered her name, but it was cool. She was she would take
the ball and she would like bounce it a couple times on the on the table. And then she would like hold
her hand on it until it like slowly stop bouncing. And then she'd like flip her hand over like very
much like barely over the table and then like flip it over, but they each had their own like
13. Yeah, yeah, for sure. It was kind of and it was interesting to anytime, like I
always wondered like watching on TV or watching clips wondered why like they would walk to like the
net area and then they wipe their hand by the net. Oh, yeah. But obviously like when their
hands getting sweaty, if they wipe it where like the ball is going to come and they're standing
like deeper in the table or I guess like not near the baseline. I don't know what they call it,
but yeah, just deeper on the court. And like a ball lands where they, you know, swipe their hand.
Yeah, it could like kick one way or not have a true bounce. And so just how delicate that ball is
and how grippy those paddles are. And it was wild too. Like walking into the event.
We ended up like our first entrance was like in the back on these three chords and walking in
like you couldn't hear anything. It was silent. Yeah, it was like a golf tournament, right? And then
we brought Mackie. And then as we like get to the chords, yeah, like when you show up at a
pickleball tournament, you can hear that stupid plastic ball being slapped around for like a half
a mile, right? We're in ping pong. There's not a whole lot of sound, you know, and I don't know if
like the grippy. It like doesn't sound like it doesn't sound on the ball being hollow and all that.
Right. But yeah, the ball is just very, very light. And it's kind of cool too. Something that
one of the Yolo reps educated me about was that I don't know what I should know the name.
No, no, no, but just so there's the paddle and then you buy the, by the face, right? Yeah.
So and there's and there's different types of over characteristic traits with each paddle, right?
Like summer more control driven, summer power driven. I think they're all pretty much the same shape
and then same with the face. Like there's like dimples. There's like yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, summer grippy,
summer dead, summer powerful. And then also too, I mean, there's so much art in the sport.
Some players like on their forehand, if that's like their main weapon, they want to go with like a more
powerful face, right? Well, like the backhand side, if they slice, they want a more dead face.
So they use two different faces in that not. But anyhow, so yeah, I got to watch some high level
table tennis. We hung out in Vegas for a solid day. I ended up staying at the Fontaine blue.
Crazy took, took Mako, Mako crushed it at the pool.
Day two. Yeah, see Las Vegas.
And that was first time that was like Machi's real first time on the strip.
Correct. Correct. Yeah, he couldn't believe his eyes. All the castle.
What's the what's the what's the Casino castle?
It's like red, white and blue. Yeah, it's kind of pretty.
Yeah, yeah. Thanks to spotted out too. Yeah, but yeah, Machi was just like in awe, you know,
caliber. It's so funny. Yeah, yeah, right. And he was walking to the casino and he kept thinking that
like he told us or he asked us if he could play those games.
And we're like, no, no, no, no, no, those are those are those are slots.
He's like, but Nanny has it on her phone.
Right, when Mac he turns 18, you know, we're going rhinos.
Because we're going to Casino.
Guys all about the casino right now. Yeah, he's gone one.
But no, Mac, he was all about it. But Machi more than anything was in love with the pool.
He was like love that pool. Love the pool. But he didn't love that they wouldn't let him do flips.
Right. Didn't like that. But he, but he just decided to do flips in the pool. Yeah, he totally
found a loophole. Yeah, the guy will always find a way just to, you know, crack the code.
So you can't jump up the side, but you can jump within both Megan. I think that Mac has gills.
He can hold his breath underwater for it seems like minutes.
A scary about right. Right. Yeah.
In the way he's able to do flips underwater. He just like methodically takes his time.
And he's not touching the bottom. Does it panic right?
He's got some tight abs, you know, strong core.
It's all the tramps. He's been doing tons of front flips on the trampoline.
He's done back flips into a pool. But he has never tried the backflip on the train.
Well, and a couple of times too. So like, Banks is all about being brave right now. And she
doesn't like her floaty. And she's taking a much they've taken a bunch of swim lessons. Right.
She just, yeah, much more fearless than Mackie. But, but yeah, so she's all about like not using
her floaty, but we have to watch her obviously. And we stayed in San Clemente and we had to pull in the
backyard. And so at first, like the first stage of her showing us that she can swim, she would just
go like side to side, right? Right. In short distance. Right short distance. And then she went
longer distance. And then she was like jumping off the rock into the water. She swam to the side.
And then she'd go down the slide and swim to the side. Yeah. It was cute. But Mackie loves that
floaty. Yeah. He is. But it's so funny. He's like using the floaty now.
Like to like do some of my floaty competition. I guarantee he smokes all.
Yeah, she does. I've seen him upside down. Feed up in the year. And the guy kicks it for like 30 seconds.
Yeah. No. I, he reminds me of those dogs. We seen the dog competitions. Right.
For the dogs just run off the dog and jump. That's Mackie.
Sea water hit water. Exactly. Oh, man. Where are we at here? Where are we off to tonight?
So no, we've been home for a couple of days. Table tennis. What have you been doing?
You've been way too active. Yeah. In my office working day and a day and day and day out. Other than
Jetsu on Monday, we took banks to Jetsu to take her to the doctor. Yesterday,
poor girl's been like complaining over tummy for a long time. So
to take her in. She confessed last night. She did. But I didn't tell you this right before I came
into the studio. So last night, she told me that sometimes she fives that it's not her tummy doesn't.
Actually, her, but her friend at school does the same thing. And so she's always good.
She always feels the story around. Right. So I was like, okay, well, just you can't,
you know, you can tell me you're tired or upset or whatever, but like don't tell me
you're telling her it doesn't really hurt. I think she was upset too because she didn't get to go
to Grand Rapids. Yeah. She was. She was saying or telling me it was her. Yeah. But the doctor did call me.
You don't take me. I'm going to make Joe's life difficult. No. No, but yesterday we did take her for
Tommy X-ray. And they just called me with results before I came out here and that it is pretty,
pretty backed up. So we got it a little clean out. So there is some, yeah. Parasites? No, no, no, no.
That's normal for kids. Ascribaries have the same thing. But you do. You do clean out.
And what does that consist of? A little, little animal? It's like in every two hour dose. And you
just keep giving them stuff until, yeah. And they have to be completely on liquids that day. So no food.
She's going to be pissed. No, no, no, no. No, no.
But it's kind of crazy. I'd never heard this on a clean out with Sky. We always keep liquids or
you can do jello or like gummy worms or stuff like anything that's like liquidy. But you can't do,
or if they, but she told me that her today, if she gets hungry, it's like insatiable, like really
wants food, you can give her corn. I sure love that. I love that.
For me, I'm no wait. I don't know. I will not be around for that. That's a, that's a mommy and
dog. Sweet. Thank you. Anyways, let's see. We at home last couple days. Ben, I bet,
Gossar, Dune a little, Dune a little teaching, played some golf, shot a, shot a couple rounds in the
80s, which is always great for me. Yeah, got some practice. So today, practice from 68 went up to
Gossar from 1912, came home, got an IV, got 750 milligrams of NAD. He just blasted through me,
not gonna lie. I'm nice and awake right now. And now here we are, cranking out some content.
Yep. And we're gonna get, go pick up banks from school, banks of Mac, and pick up two jutsu.
And then we've got, after that, we've got, we're gonna get time in tonight. And then,
Friday off to Connecticut. With just banks and tie.
Yeah. So how this goes? Yeah. Hopefully, Maggie doesn't get a tummy ache now.
Maggie's gonna see us on Tuesday Wednesday and Dallas, right?
Yeah, we just have to figure out what day, I think we're gonna stay in New York until Wednesday,
and then fly out. But maybe it's Tuesday.
So I, I think we're in like 11th or 12th right now. Top 10 make playoffs. So we'll see if the flames
can, okay, make a run. Make a run. It was actually, I felt like that second match in
Grand Rapids. I swear. You was good. You played well. You did. You did play.
It was super hot. And it was cool to see Pesa go on a little Pesa. Pesa, Pesa.
Pesa. Let it watch him go on a run in mix. They held, they held like eight match points.
It was crazy. I mean, it was. Basically landed on my feet as I'm sitting on the bench.
Popped up. Yeah. Popped up. Get back. Get back on the phone. Right. Right. Dirty. Yeah. It was,
yeah. We also rewatched that point. Got his knees all banged up. He was unfazed.
But yeah, so off to Connecticut. So right way is one of the sponsors I'm with. Right way was
generous enough to help with some beat up courts in this whole court project here in Cordelaine.
It was one of the, I think I've explained this before, but I'll tell you again, it's one of the first,
it's the first park in Cordelaine that built permanent courts and actually one of the first
areas that I taught at in Cordelaine. And this is like, I don't know, back in 2018, 2017,
something like that. But there was gaping holes or cracks in the court in the courts.
Even six numerous times. Right. There's like six courts there. So they've been fixed numerous
times. And right way came in, brought their team. Tom, head honcho came as well. We were able to
film some content. They actually have me out there filling some of the cracks. Yeah,
put me in a work for a little bit. Yep. And anyhow, so Tom is opening a brand new facility.
Facility there. Where in Connecticut? I've been asked this question.
Oh, gosh. Today they're asking like five times that I'm like, I literally have never been there.
I actually have. And to me, Connecticut feels like a city with how small the state is. Yeah.
Anywhere in Connecticut. Okay. That's all the same.
That was same. I'm going to Connecticut. Okay. Everything's 30 minutes away.
Oh my gosh. Doesn't matter. Okay.
But anyhow, so we're going to be doing I'm doing a one day clinic on that Saturday at a new facility.
It's New Haven. New Haven. What's facility called? But the Tom's new facility is called Smash.
And it's got pickle and paddle. Pickle, paddle and does it have tennis? I think so.
And yeah. Okay. But yeah. So we're doing a little clinic on that Saturday.
Yeah. Oh, sorry. The facilities in Branford.
Branford. It's a $7 million dollar pickleball and paddle facility in Branford.
Oh, it's pretty crazy. And Tom's helping us out with our project in the backyard.
We're just kind of working on the color schemes right now.
I think we're going to go all black with like a pink kitchen.
But definitely kind of like that. Like that black look.
Anyhow, so hopefully the next couple of months we're going to work on our facility.
But yeah, on that Saturday clinics in the morning doing a little exhibition in the afternoon.
Even on Lendle showing up. We got the Rosetti brothers rocking and rolling and then Mr. Ryan
Sherry will be there. And then we're doing a clinic at another facility. A sister or neighboring
facility as well. And then that night we head off to New York.
New York. Tell us about about health kitchen.
Yeah. So health kitchen. This is cool. It's going to be exclusive. I think to the members only.
But it'll be two two hour clinics with you one Saturday morning or sorry Sunday morning.
And then it's a brand new facility in health kitchen. It's like a been around for like a year.
It's a district that it's health kitchen. I think it's like a borough or area of you know of New York.
So sorry area. I think but yeah. So you're the facility. There's health kitchen pickle ball.
And it's a private club that you have to be a member of.
10 courts indoors. Yeah, I think they have one outdoor maybe. But it's like a ball.
It's above a Cadillac dealership I believe. So yeah, but right right downtown.
I think we're like four blocks or so from Times Square.
It'll be fun because we'll have banks and tie which we can take them around to do a couple things.
And I was actually I was actually just talking to Corey from hustlers today.
We want to get the boys together because they play pickle ball well together. And so we were
thinking we're trying to get them together. Maybe Tuesday or Wednesday or sorry.
Monday or Tuesday try to get them together and then we're out of town.
Yeah, it should be it should be good little time.
And then MOP Dallas to see if we can make it through.
And then after that we're home for like a week and then off to beautiful Bristol Tennessee.
And who doesn't want to go to Bristol Tennessee. It's worth a four-bristol though.
We're going on our rain inventory. Oh right. I tell us all about that.
What do you say it like that? Come on rain.
It's cool. It's a rain. Clothing optional.
Rainstorm. This is their first like athlete influencer.
Meetup. We went to one for rain body fuel.
For the first time. Met everybody and yeah, it was pretty cool. They did content.
Tief and Mopas. Tief and Mopas might go.
Yeah, so we're going to get there. You and I got both invited which is super sweet of them.
And we're going to fly to Charleston, South Carolina.
I think we get there the first night. I think we all have dinner together.
There's some sort of like gifting and I think the next morning we don't like a big group workout.
And then doing some content. And then I think we're out that night.
So we might go from Charleston to Nashville and have our kids meet us there for a couple days before
we had to Bristol. If not, maybe we fly all the way home or maybe we go.
But anyways, we'll figure that out later. But excited for rain storms first.
First meetup. Right.
Okay, Mama. We'll love you.
And let's see. We'll be doing our next episode here in about a week and a half after our venture
to Connecticut, New York and Dallas. So you guys have a great day and we'll see you next episode.
